GO Where Meetings Matter is hands down the best place to create, connect, collaborate, and share information. We want as many people as possible to experience the difference an inspiring environment can make so we are hosting mini-workshops throughout the year on various topics. Each session will range between 45 minutes and 2 hours in length, depending on the topic.
The experts tell us to put on our own oxygen mask first before we take care of those around us for good reason. Self-care is a necessity if we plan to accomplish anything. GO Thrive sessions will offer tools and techniques to better equip you to care for yourself on many different levels. You will increase your capacity to reduce stress and increase your overall well being.
Listed below are outlines of programs we are currently offering or have offered in the past.
Laughter Yoga is a series of movement and breathing exercises designed to stimulate laughter and cultivate an inner spirit of joy. it is a technique that invites laughter without using jokes or humor. Laughter Yoga is a blend of yoga-based deep breathing, gentle stretching, simulated laughter exercises and playful games and activities. Laughter Yoga was created in 1995 by Dr. Madan Kataria, a family physician in India who wanted to find an alternative way of treating his patients, many of whom were suffering from illness related to stress.
For centuries, people have known about the healing characteristics of laughter. Recent scientific studies now confirm the old adage that “laughter is the best medicine”. Laughter helps all systems of the body: respiratory, circulation, nervous, endocrine, and immune systems. Laughter boosts the immune system, decreases blood pressure, relieves muscular tension and emotional/mental stress, helps with pain management, provides aerobic exercise for the whole body, improves breathing, stimulates digestion, and oxygenates blood, making one feel alert and energetic.

Using awareness, precision, and concentration, Purna Yoga inspires the evolution from our lower nature to our Divine Self. Purna Yoga is the art of loving yourself by living from the heart.
Purna Yoga practitioners learn alignment-based asana, pranayama, and Heartfull™ Meditation (the art of aligning inner energies for transformation created by Savitri, along with nutrition and yogic philosophy, adapted for our lifestyles today. Like a tuning fork, Purna Yoga aligns our entire being with the vibration of truth and the Divine essence within us and all around us.
These are six-week workshops to teach the basics of yoga. We will methodically work through poses that strengthen the body, improve balance, flexibility, and increase confidence
